I already have a lot of ideas for the Advent season on my to do list, Advent calendars for the children, decorations for Advent and of course an Advent wreath. Before I show you my new projects (because they only exist in my head so far), I wanted to give you a little inspiration for Advent. A lot has come together in six years 🙂.
Some ideas are already a few years old, but I still have the paper stars, for example, in my Christmas box and I decorate them somewhere in the house every Christmas. Even if the pictures are sometimes not that good (you can see how diligently I have practiced over time), I would still like to show you a few projects as inspiration for the Advent season.
Super simple, but still a nice eye-catcher with the decorated paper bags. You can find the advent calendar in the box here.
That was one of my first advent calendars here on the blog. I love little miniature worlds at Christmas with tiny packages, trees and houses. Here you can find the matchbox advent calendar.
That was my most elaborate advent calendar so far, because it was a lot of fiddling to glue the boxes into the big box. I didn’t have to buy anything for the calendar and my son played with it long after the advent season. You can find the advent calendar house here.
You can find the Advent calendar made of table fabric here.
This is my very favorite Advent wreath! If I didn’t want to show you new ideas every year, I would only take this one.
I also liked the idea of decorating mason jars and hanging them up with candles. I still use the glasses 🙂.
Super easy to imitate, but my absolute must have during the Christmas season: homemade paper stars.
Oh, I really like the little paper landscape too! A really nice craft project for cold November days!
The felt tree decorations are my last DIY idea for today. A project from the category “cozy on the couch” projects 🙂.
Are you now feeling tingling about starting your first projects for Advent ?! Or have you already started long ago?
